Brand New Dome Show at the Science Center!

"Hidden Universe" is the newest dome show at the Center for Earth & Space Science Education at Tyler Junior College. It focuses on the part of the cosmos that remains to be unseen by human eyes. It reveals galaxies millions of light years away, stellar nurseries where stars are currently being formed, and the terrain of planets in never before seen detail.
The full-dome documentary adventure Hidden Universe takes audiences on an extraordinary journey deep into space in the cinematic medium that transports audiences like no other. With the full power of the planetarium, the deepest reaches of our universe are brought to life with unprecedented clarity through real images captured by the world's most powerful telescopes.

Stunning, high-resolution images of space allow visitors to explore the earliest galaxies, watch stars being born in vivid clouds of gas and dust, tour the surface of Mars, and witness images of distant celestial structures including stunning views of the Sun. These dramatic new images offer fresh insight into the origins and evolution of the universe.

Hidden Universe plays at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students seniors and children. Day passes are also available that will get you in to all of the shows that day and our exhibit hall for only $12.00 for adults and $9.00 for students, seniors, and children. And last but certainly not least, Super Tuesday is back! So come see a dome show any Tuesday until the end of May for only $1.00 per ticket per person!

The TJC science center is located at 1411 E. Lake St., on the TJC main campus. Center hours are 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays, and 10:30 a.m-4:30 p.m. Saturdays. For details, see the website at or call directly 903-510-2312.
