[FOTHP]July Premier of "Lunar Odyssey"

HUDNALL PLANETARIUM CELEBRATES THE 40TH
ANNIVERSARY OF THE
APOLLO 11 MOON LANDING WITH A NEW EXHIBIT AND
PLANETARIUM SHOW

Hudnall Planetarium will premier its newest planetarium show, "Lunar
Odyssey" in July to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo
11 moon landing. In "Lunar Odyssey" experts in lunar mythology,
history, science, and astronomy take you on a guided tour of the awesome
beauty and mysteries of Earth's nearest neighbor in space. Show times
are at 2:00 p.m. on July 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11, Hudnall
Planetarium unveils its moon landing exhibit. The exhibit contains
slide footage of NASA's Apollo 11 moon landing mission. Take a trip
back to July 20, 1969, when Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong stepped
out of the lunar module and took "one small step" in the Sea of
Tranquility, calling it "a giant leap for mankind."

Admission costs to "Lunar Odyssey" are $3.00 per person. Tickets
are available at the door one-half hour before each showing. No seating
is allowed after the show begins. For more information about the
Hudnall Planetarium call 903-510-2312 or visit the planetarium website

main campus of Tyler Junior College near the intersection of Mahon
Avenue and Lake Street.
